So what is Festival Jackets and how does it work?
For a long time, Festival Jackets has lived mostly through word of mouth, festival fields, sequins, wristbands, and scattered glimpses online. It felt like the right moment to properly introduce myself and the small Corsham workspace where everything is made. This new video is a more personal look at what Festival Jackets actually is, and the ideas behind each piece I create.
Each jacket is sewn by hand, by commission, and built as a living record of experiences. Festival wristbands are stitched onto sleeves to hold onto the memories they represent, while interchangeable event name patches allow one jacket to evolve across years of music, travel, and connection. Every piece also carries its own name, number, and song — becoming something more like a character than a garment, shaped by the person who wears it.
Festival Jackets sits within slow fashion, where nothing is rushed and nothing is mass-produced. Some jackets are worn season after season, added to over time, and carried through countless moments that matter. There are now around thirty in the world, each one completely unique.
